A duet for marimba- two players on one instrument. Marimba I plays music in the treble clef, while Marimba II plays music in the bass clef. The first and last sections of the piece are in a solemn style while the middle section moves along at a faster pace. As one would expect most of the notes are played with a tremalo technic and often in duet lines. The middle section is highly arpeggiated in part II. The piece is exuberant from beginning to end giving a continual sense of praise. The piece exhibit the opportunity for the soloist to use their command of technique.
