Verily, Verily
This unaccompanied flute quartet is based on a traditional gospel song. The arrangement is from the teaching files of Monty Budahl and is useful for vesper, offertory, and special. There is a four page score and an individual part for each player. The arrangement is in a traditional ABA form with a martial A section contrasted by a lilting fast 6/8, B section with a feel of two beats per measure. The arrangement returns to the martial A section which builds to the climatic ending.

Banner Of The Cross
For brass choir, including 3 trumpets, horn, 2 trombones, baritone, and tuba, the piece starts out in a reflective mood gaining energy to a more fanfare-like presentation of the melody. The second section is more Celtic in nature, ends gloriously.
